Looking to add a small animal companion to your life? At Critters & Company Pet Center & Rescue, we work to find loving homes for a wide variety of small animals.

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pets in need. With a wide selection of adorable critters waiting for their forever homes, why not come in and see if there's a perfect match for you?

See who's waiting for you!

All of our dogs and cats are rescues. They are flea treated, de-wormed, started on initial vaccines, and micro-chipped. If they are not spayed or neutered already, we will make an appointment to get them fixed at an appropriate age and work with the adopter through our spay or neuter programs.

Mango is a year and a half old ball python. She is still a bit shy but doesn't mind being handled and has come a long way with her socialization. She would make a great pet for someone!

Lockhart is a handsome, adult crested gecko looking for a new home. He doesn't mind being handled and prefers to be the only crested in his terrarium.

Kenai is a loving, six year old husky/shepherd mix who is looking for a new home because his owner unfortunately passed away. He is super sweet and loves everyone he meets. He gets along with other dogs but would prefer a home without cats or young children, as they tend to overwhelm him. He could be a great hiking buddy or a content as a couch potato!

Hank

Meet Hank! Hank is a very sweet, three year old German shepherd/husky mix. He is a snuggly, energetic boy who adores children, holding hands, hugs, and belly rubs! Hank knows all of his basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, shake, high hives), and lives to please. He is over 100 pounds of pure love! Hank seems to enjoy the company of other dogs after a proper introduction, and he has limited cat experience from when he was a puppy. He is extra interested in birds of all kinds, so a home without birds, whether they are pets or livestock, is recommended for Hank. He is kennel trained and is the sweetest guy who is most deserving of a forever home!

Checkers

Checkers is definitely a lap cat and is very playful. This loving eight month old kitten is a marvel! He was born with only his left eye working. Oh well, he was given EXTRA sweetness to make up for it. His depth perception is off so mistakes are made when jumping or not knowing exactly where an object is but he and his similarly "'adorned" brother Chess (who has only his right eye) make everything fun and full of love. These two sleek boys make an excellent pair (ALL THE MORE LOVE AND PURRING) and would love to become your friends!

Mr. Inky came to us when his family was unable to afford him financially anymore. He is 3 and 1/2 years old. He is a sweet guy who has only lived inside and loves pets.

Meet Charlie! Charlie is a friendly pit/shepheard mix who is around 45lbs. She is around two and a half years old and loves to give kisses! She is affectionate and is good with children and other animals. Charlie is playful and loves to play tug with a rope!

Nova (grey) is a sweet 70lb pit mix who is looking for her forever home. She is two and a half years old. Her previous owner said she is very lovey and is good with children and other animals. She loves to be in your lap, and she will chase a ball until she drops!

Nimbus is a dapper gentleman on the search for his new home! He was found as a stray and he comes around more everyday. He loves pets and his coat is super luscious and soft. Nimbus is loving and friendly! He is estimated to be about five years old. He would prefer to be the only kitty in the home.

Skyler is a gem of a cat! She is around 11 years old and is a typical old lady kitty. She likes to spend most of her day napping but when she is awake she is affectionate and craves head scratches. Chin rubs are a close second! She is looking for a quieter home without loud children to live out her golden years. Skyler would make a wonderful companion!

Daisy is a sweet girl looking for a new home. She is a lab German short hair mix. She would love an active family to help get her energy out. She is great with kids and sleeps well in her kennel. She has not been around cats and could use more training with slow introductions to other dogs. She loves to cuddle and play fetch!

Frito is a sweet rottweiler mix puppy who is about 10 weeks old. He is a chunky guy with the cutest wrinkles on his face. He loves to play with his siblings and is showing good work towards potty training. Frito has been around cats, kids, and other dogs.

Adoption fee: $350 which covers neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip, deworming, and flea treatment.

Debbie is a wonderful person who runs this great pet shop where she also rescues animals that she observes, and makes sure they are healthy before letting folks take animals home. We got an African grey parrot, and a goffins cockatoo in past weeks that are a great addition to our home!

This place is great! It's more like a huge animal rescue for reptiles, birds, and small furry animals. Quite a huge undertaking but awesome that Debbie and crew can take in animals in need, get them vet care and TLC, and then rehomed to loving homes. And that they're on Whidbey Island is so cool!

I love this pet store, the owner is genuine and always personal and professional. She always makes sure you get what you are looking for, and will go out of her way to help. She loves her animals and cares for her costumers. I have 2 bearded dragons and 2 leopard gecko s. I'm sure the community is glad she is here.

Shop owner is very friendly and helpful to the community, most of the animals are friendly and the staff is always willing to help. Stocks most of your pet needs and if not, owner is willing to order most items for her customers. A friendly atmosphere and even if you arent looking to buy anything, a great way to past time and meet new animals.

Awesome place! The owner is super nice and has helped us out with all our pet supply needs since we moved onto Whidbey Island. Plus the big tortoise roaming around is Awesome!
